Julianna Margulies has been selected to star in the upcoming film Stand Up Guys. The action-comedy movie already has a cast of A-listers, including Al Pacino and Christopher Walken.
Stand Up Guys stars Oscar award-winning Pacino and Alan Arkin as a pair of aging hitmen who decide to “have one last night of wildness before one has to murder the other,” according to Deadline.
Margulies will play the role of “Arkin’s daughter Lila who works as a nurse in the hospital and takes care of Al Pacino when he OD’s on Viagra.”
The actress, who previously starred on the t.v. show ER as a nurse, has been praised for her work on The Good Wife. She won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her role as lawyer Alicia Florrick.
Stand Up Guys is scheduled to begin shooting next month. Lakeshore and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment will produce the film, and Lionsgate will do the distributing duties.
