“She’s in no rush to get back to L.A.,” a source vaguely tells the site. “She’s on total lock down and only talking to a small group of people,” while she’s reportedly on vacation.
The “exclusive and private” treatment facility has been the selection for other high-profile celebrities dealing with addiction issues, including Lindsay Lohan, Mary-Kate Olsen, Eva Mendes and Kirsten Dunst.
The “Margin Call” actress checked into the facility after a “health scare” late January. A released 911 call later revealed Moore was experiencing seizures after smoking an unidentified substance which ran speculations wild about how in trouble the star really was.
“She smoked something. It’s not marijuana, but it’s similar to it,” an unnamed female caller told the 911 operator. “It’s similar to incense. She seems to be having convulsions of some sort.”
“There has been some stuff recently that we’re just finding out,” another caller added. “She’s been having some issues lately with some other stuff, so I don’t know what she’s been taking or not.”
“Everyone thought she was going to die,” a source told US Magazine in February. “It was terrifying.”
That incident prompted the decision (unsure whose exactly) for Demi to seek help for an alleged gamut of issues from substance abuse to an eating disorder.
Those unnamed issues are speculated to be connected to the separation of her and estranged hubby of six years Ashton Kutcher.
“She knows she’s in a bad place and needs help,” a source said. “She needed something serious to get her back on track.”
