Demi Moore has left the rehabilitation facility where she had been receiving treatment for substance abuse.
According to sources, the 49-year-old actress “left treatment at the end of February.” Moore, who has had a successful career in Hollywood, may continue her treatment by checking into the facility daily. Another source added that she “may seek outpatient therapy,” but has checked out of the rehab to have a little “reality break.”
The Margin Call star went to the treatment center after she collapsed and started convulsing during a drug session with friends. After her pal called 911, the paramedics responded and took the actress to the hospital.
The woman who called for help indicated that the film star’s life was filled with worries. “She’s been having some issues with some other stuff lately. I don’t know what she’s been taking or not,” said Moore’s friend to the 911 dispatcher.
Immediately after Moore was released from the hospital, her rep released this statement: “It became clear to her that her way of coping with her stress was not working and she needed more help. She’s on total lock-down and only talking to a small group of people.”
Demi Moore is currently on vacation in an undisclosed location.
