Jay-Z doesn’t mince words when sharing how he feels about his mentee, Rihanna, collaborating with Chris Brown on and/or off records and he’s disappointed the “Umbrella” singer has personally requested to have any dealings with Brown.
The “Watch The Throne” rapper was a refuge and a protector of sorts for Rihanna following her 2009 assault at the hands of Brown.
“Jay was absolutely disgusted by what Chris did to Rihanna. Jay doesn’t understand how a man could ever lay hands on a woman; it just goes against who he is and about. Chris is absolutely dead to Jay, he wants nothing to do with him ever,” according to RadarOnline.com.
Jay is joining a flock of people who are giving their blatant assessments about the two performers remixing their songs “Turn Up The Music” and “Birthday Cake” with the help of one another.
While there is speculation about Brown and the Barbados beauty hooking up, the lyrics in their remixes doesn’t do much to sway public opinion. “Girl I wanna f*** you right now. Been a long time, I’ve been missing your body,” is just one of the many racy lines that may have elicited feedback from Jigga.
“Now that Rihanna is hooking up with Chris and recording songs with him, Jay is deeply disappointed in her actions. He can’t fathom why Rihanna is doing the things she is doing. He understands the need for forgiveness, but he is adamant that Rihanna shouldn’t forget what Chris did to her. Jay wonders what kind of message this is sending to Rihanna’s young female fans, “according to a source.
The “We Found Love” singer is aware of Jay feelings about Brown, but insists on dealing with Chris as she chooses.
Jay’s new role as a father to him and Beyonce Knowles’ firstborn daughter, Blue Ivy Cater, has his protective radar going into overdrive.
“He is even more protective of the women in his life,” the source shared. “Jay has told Rihanna he will never give his blessing for what she is doing with Chris. He has told her, this isn’t going to end well, it never does. In Jay’s opinion, Chris has rage issues that he doesn’t think have been dealt with.”
