Nicki Minaj, all pink and blue, goes on record in the March edition of Vogue magazine about her love for clothing labels, her aspirations for young women, and who she would be if not a multi-million dollar rapping Barbie.
The fashionable “Super Bass” rapper who always dreamt of being in Vogue has not landed the cover, but did manage a quirky photo shot with photographer Steven Klein that screams Minaj—Avatar blue all-over body and face paint, fuchsia dress with matching thigh-highs and gloves finished with a powdered-pink, curly 1950’s wig.
Though Nicki admitted to once spending fifty grand a month on designer labels like “Giuseppe, Versace, YSL, and Fendi shoes” she doesn’t spend as outlandishly now for her angle has shifted. “I bought tons of Vuitton bags. When you’re a young girl from Queens, you’re going to stock up on those bags.”
What may come as a surprise is what the 29-year-old rapper career would be if she wasn’t the biggest female MC out at the moment.
“A huge part of me wanted to be a lawyer!” said Minaj who watches “Forensic Files” and “Judge Judy” notoriously in her down time. “I would do a really good job as a prosecutor.”
What’s next on the horizon for the Harajuku Barbie? A foundation for young girls.
“The Nicki Minaj girl is a fun, artsy girl who can become a fierce force to be reckoned with on Wall Street! They hang on my every word, so I tell them, go to school, be ambitious. The worst position is to be financially dependent on the man.”
Though not dependent on a man, the Young Money princess daydreams about being a housewife still—just in a bikini and high heels.
The March issue of Vogue with Nicki is on newsstands now.
Bobbi Kristina Brown Lost Without Whitney Houston
While her father Bobby Brown’s tell all is hoping to land a buyer, Bobbi Kristina Brown is trying to find peace. After the tragic and sudden death of her mother, Bobbi Kristina has become the center of concern for those who know her mother well and Whitney’s legions of fans. Brown was a staple in her mother’s life, accompanying her to events and parties – the pair were described as “best friends.” On February 11th, Bobbi Kristina lost her best friend. According to a new report in Life & Style magazine, the 18-year old is trying desperately to find her way.
“Bobbi Kristina is totally lost without Whitney guiding her way. She was very close to her mother; they were more like best friends. They even partied together.”
While stories vary and are largely inconsistent on whether Houston’s only daughter is using drugs the source believes she needs help fast.
“The hope is that Cissy [Houston] gets hold of her and gets her help.”
Sigh, we truly hope to see Bobbi Kristina blossom into a beautiful young adult after the madness settles down a bit.
