Evelyn Lozada Explains Her Anger Towards Jennifer Williams

Evelyn Lozada clarifies her anger and disgust for ex-friend Jennifer Williams just a day after the explosive premiere of Basketball Wives Miami, Season 4 aired.

“I hope that it’s clear what the issue is. Last season it was because publicly [Jenn] did this interview that really made me angry. So then to get over that, and now you did something else publicly and I’m like what the [expletive]? Like, why do you continue to do this?” Evelyn told Vibe. Com.

Chad Ochocinco’s fiancé felt Jenn crossed the threshold of what should and should not be said in public.

“ I was that person that they would always interview and ask about Jenn and Eric−because who else would know the inside? Me, right? And I wouldn’t comment on anything pertaining to her, her relationship, their marriage or what went on because I just feel like that’s not my place. I’ve never talked about her. If I did, it was something positive and if I felt a certain way about something, I wouldn’t talk about it on the radio or in an interview or anything.”

To further reiterate what the underlined issue was about Jenn flapping off at the mouth to blogs, in interviews, and on her own blog via a “publicist”, Evelyn took to her blog about the loyalty that should be understood amongst all the women on the show and that which her ex-friend seemingly lacks.

“At the end of the day, talking smack about my fiancé is OFF LIMITS.   I don’t care in what capacity, I make certain not to discuss Shaunie, Tami’s or Jen’s personal life when I am doing interviews.   It is called LOYALTY,” Lozada said. “The comments that Jen carelessly made about my relationship is an issue and she was not being a real friend. All of the crocodile tears is for show, it’s fake…she did this to herself.   Jen showed me her true colors and I am done with her.”

Evelyn stopped short of calling the show staged, but did want to dispel any confusion fans may have about her new-found angst against her once best gal pal.

“You never know how things are going to be edited and I don’t want things to look like, “Ok, I just wanna fight with this girl,” because there was a prior issue before filming and talking because of that issue. Anything that we say gets blown up times a thousand. So, I feel like when you’re on TV and your life is public, you need to, at some point, start being real about who you are and what you’re doing and what you’ve done because if you think that you’re going to be able to keep that behind closed doors forever, you’re buggin.”

And if Jenn won’t be real to the fans, Evelyn feels the need to help her out: “Jen was OUT having “relations” with athletes and trying to play the innocent role on the show.   Last season Jen was dating, however, she acted as though she wasn’t to viewers.   At least, I give our viewers ALL of me; I don’t lie to any of you guys regarding my personal life, friendships, etc,” Evelyn wrote on a blog following the premiere.

On a positive note, Evelyn has a book and movie deal with Cash Money and the first book drops June 5.

“I have a three-part series. The first book is called The Inner Circle…We just did the photo shoot for it and I’m super excited. The books are based around some journals I had and I found when I was moving. The book is just three friends−you know−a lot of listening to these ladies’ stories and seeing that it’s really a lot going on behind closed doors.”

And she’s dabbling a bit in Jenn’s territory (who has a lip gloss line) with her very own make-up line.

“It’s E by Evelyn Lozada and I will say this — it’s on the same level—you know, M-A-C has a million and one different things but as far as the shadows, the brushes—same quality. I wanted to make sure that my makeup was not only affordable but it was quality. It’s blushes, eye shadows and lip-glosses. It’s gonna be out some time in February. I’m looking to really sell it in stores like Walgreens, CVS and Duane Reade, so that everyone can buy it, especially the ladies that watch the show.”

You can catch more of Evelyn and the other ladies on Basketball Wives Mondays on VH1.

Do you think Evelyn has a point or the show just needed Evelyn to have a new enemy this season?
