Nicki Minaj, Adele, Chris Brown & Other 2012 Grammy Performers

The 2012 Grammys are gearing up to be a show stopper! Powerhouse Alicia Keys and Bonnie Raitt are scheduled to pay tribute to the late Etta James. Other confirmed performances include Adele, who received the most nominations behind Kanye West, Bruce Springsteen and Carrie Underwood.

Chris Brown and Rihanna are also scheduled to perform in separate performances though that hasn’t stopped the media frenzy surrounding the duo’s reunion following Brown’s battery assault charge three years ago.

Brown will join Foo Fighters, David Guetta and Lil Wayne in an ode to dance and electronica music – sounds very interesting.

Rihanna will join British rock star Coldplay to perform their first duet ‘Princess of China.’

Sunday night Grammy awards will also include performances from Nicki Minaj who’s slated to perform ‘Roman Holiday’ for the first time, Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift.

Between the high quality performances and the anticipation of Chris Brown and Rihanna’s reunion – the Grammy Awards ceremony should be a winner!

UPDATE: After Nicki Minaj’s telecast performance of ‘Roman Holiday’ the track will be available on iTunes; the following day Minaj will premiere ‘Starship’ on Ryan Seacrest which will also be available on iTunes minutes later. Reports are coming in that Chris Brown plans to bring the house down for his highly anticipated performance. In insider states, “Chris has been rehearsing non-stop. He wants to give the audience and his fans an over top the performance. Chris has put a lot of pressure on himself to deliver, and he will deliver, he always does.”
