Demi Moore gained another supporter recently, her on-screen daughter, Miley Cyrus. Cyrus who is adamant about shedding her Disney girl character, jumped to the defense of the now troubled actress Moore.
“Everyone needs to leave Demi alone,” she wrote on her Facebook page. “She’s been through so much the past year. She doesn’t need the crap. How can you talk crap on someone you don’t know?”
Last week Miley, 19, celebrated her boyfriend’s birthday with a penis cake – and guess who was in attendance!
Sources who were at Club Icon on January 14 told TMZ Demi was hanging out with her daughter Rumer and some young friends … mostly kickin’ it in the VIP section. She was drinking Red Bull all night.
Days later Demi was spotted partying with her 23-year old daughter again – shortly after that she was hospitalized for inhaling nitrous oxide – a drug popular with young kids.
Cyrus continued with her rant: “The media makes everyone in Hollywood seem “weak,” “stupid,” or “unbalanced” …Just because she’s in Hollywood doesn’t mean she’s on drugs. NOT EVERYONE IS ON DRUGS!!!
“Put yourself in her shoes. How are you supposed to hold up while everyone in the world is so naïve and they believe everything the media says? Almost her entire life has been in the public eye.”
So in essence Miley believes Demi Moore’s downward spiral can be blamed on the media?? Moore has checked into Cirque Lodge rehab center in Utah for treatment of anorexia and prescription and club drug abuse.
