Russell Brand is not letting his recent divorce stop the show. The actor-comedian, who recently announced he and wife of 14 months, Katy Perry, would be slitting, has been keeping real busy — and his schedule just got even more cramped.
In addition to appearing in the upcoming “Rock of Ages”, landing a role in Diablo Cody’s directorial debut, and hosting his own late-night talk show on FX, Brand is now also set to star in the Paramount-produced haunted-house movie “The Hauntrepreneur”.
According to Variety, the spooky comedy film, which will be co-produced by Michael Bay’s company Platinum Dunes, “revolves around a family that has trouble adjusting to a new town and hires a peculiar man who calls himself the Hauntrepreneur to help them. In an attempt to bring them together, the man creates a haunted house filled with an odd cast of characters.”
While it has been confirmed that Russell Brand has a part in “The Hauntrepreneur” movie, no director has been named yet.
