Russell Brand is officially back on the market. The actor has been spotted for the first time since his split from wife Katy Perry.
Last night, Brand hung out with a friend at the night spot Lexington Social House in Hollywood. According to sources, the “Arthur” star looked as though he was having a great time.
The England native arrived at the club at around 12:30 a.m., and females who were there screamed out his ex’s name as he walked into the establishment, the source added.
“Katy Perry! they yelled, probably in an attempt to get a rise out of Brand, but the 36-year old funnyman simply smiled and went inside,” said the sources.
Last month, Russell Brand filed for divorce from singer Katy Perry, claiming irreconcilable differences as the cause. He released a statement saying:
“Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.”
The “Get Him to the Greek” star and the pop star Perry met in 2008 and married on October, 2010 in India.
