Love & Hip Hop’s Jim Jones and Chrissy Lampkin Talk Wedding Plans

Vh1’s Love & Hip Hop stars Jim Jones and Chrissy Lampkin sat down with Hot 97’s Angie Martinez to talk about their pending wedding.
After a week of Jim Jones (questionable) proposal to longtime girlfriend Chrissy Lampkin and days after   Chrissy attacked Yandy on the popular reality show aired, the newly engaged duo gets candid about reality beyond the show.

Chrissy said she and Jim haven’t set a date and that she has yet to start any wedding plans.
“Absolutely not; this is still just settling in…the whole engagement thing.”

This unusual response from a newly engaged woman prompted the radio host to ask if Chrissy was nervous about walking down the aisle.

“Yeah, I am. I’m scared of the wedding. A lot of planning and a lot of stuff I have to get together,” Chrissy said.

When Chrissy said the two haven’t planned a date yet, Angie told Jim that he couldn’t do a four year engagement because the streets were watching.

“Oh, man…is this what we’re gonna go through? We’re going to figure it out. Let’s do one thing at a time,” Jim said.

Though Jim was nontraditional in asking for his now-fiancé hand in marriage, the 34 year old rapper is adamant about a conventional wedding.

“I’m old school; we got to go to my grandmother church and do it there then after that we can get crazy.”

Chrissy quickly chimed in: “Me, I could’ve done a destination wedding. A few family members and a few friends.”

“My grandmother wouldn’t have allowed that,” Jim followed up.

The two may have to work the location kinks out, but both seem to be open towards the wedding being televised (so, much for traditional, right?). LOL!

“I hadn’t planned for it but let’s see,” Chrissy said. “Hey, if VH1 or somebody listening….,” Jim added.

Jones and Chrissy both seem nervous about their pending wedding…maybe airing the wedding on television can erase their jitters??
