Nick Cannon Survives Surgery, Prognosis Is Good, Tweets Mariah Carey

Nick Cannon is currently recovering from surgery and may be on his way home soon, according to recent tweets from the actor/tv host and his wife Mariah Carey!

The America’s Got Talent host, who was hospitalized earlier this week with kidney failure, reportedly underwent a surgery that was minor enough for him to remain conscious during the procedure and feel good enough to send out his own update of his condition by himself.

“Just left the operating table and I was awake during the whole procedure. #OUCH,” tweeted Cannon.

Mariah Carey who has been by her hubby’s bedside since he was admitted to the hospital tweeted a photo showing the actor was all smiles.

“Thank you everyone for all the love & concern”, Carey wrote Friday. “Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he’ll be discharged within 2 days. As always he’s laughing and in good spirits.”

There has been much speculation as to what caused Cannon’s kidney failure. Some reports have attributed severe dehydration to blame for the Drumline actor’s health crisis. Cannon was recently transferred to a Los Angeles hospital on Wednesday after spending the first few days in an Aspen hospital.

Hopefully Nick Cannon with regain his health and get back to work soon.
