While rumors are flying that Beyonce is giving birth today, Kanye West, a soon to be uncle is reportedly leaving his hip hop cohort Jay-Z behind to focus on fashion in London. Well, not quite, but it is rumored that West may make a move to London to put a deeper focus on his growing fashion catalog.
West premiered his first full womenswear collection, DW, named after his late mother Dr. Donde West during Paris Fashion Week last October. Kanye, clearly unaffected by the lukewarm reviews, appears fully eager and ready to go as he joins London based designer Katie Eary in an effort to mold and perfect his craft.
According to the UK Mirror, a source confirmed the rumors with this statement;
“He went home for the holidays but was proclaiming that he is now based in the capital and would return in early January. He’s close to the lecturers and students at the Central Saint Martins College and being in London means he can stop by for advice any time.”
Kanye is notorious for his tenacity, so if fashion is really where he plans to focus his energy then we have no doubt he will create something amazing.
