Angelina Jolie, 36 and Brad Pitt, 47, could be expanding their family any day now! Jolie revealed in the January issue of Marie Claire that she’s not against expanding her family though there are no strict plans for it. In the issue, Angie also opened up about her relationship with Brad and her upcoming film ‘In the Land of Blood and Honey’.
On writing and filming ‘In the Land of Blood and Honey’:
“It began as a private exercise, an excuse to get out some of my frustrations [with] the international community and justice issues. “Some of the very darkest sections of the film were conceived in Shiloh’s art class; I was in the back waiting for the kids to finish.”
On working with her film’s actresses:
“It was nice for me to play with other girls; I don’t really have girlfriends in movies, if you’ve noticed… Well, I have a few girlfriends, I just… I stay at home a lot. I’m just not very social. I don’t do a lot with them, and I’m very homebound.”
On growing her family:
“Nothing planned at the moment, but we just don’t know. I could end up pregnant.”
On the love of her life, Brad Pitt:
“Brad has expanded my life in ways I never imagined. We built a family. He is not just the love of my life, he is my family. I hold that very dear. I suppose what I’ve learned from Brad is to be able to have the kind of family whose happiness and well-being comes before your own. I’m very, very grateful to have such a loving family, and I wouldn’t have that without him.”
Definitely sounds like Angelina Jolie is planning to add a seventh child to their brood!
In other good news for directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey will receive the 2012 Stanley Kramer Award at the Producers Guild of America Awards on Jan. 21. Congrats to Angie!
