UPDATE-Lindsay Lohan‘s big Playboy reveal on the Ellen DeGeneres show has officially been canceled. Lohan was scheduled to tape the episode on Tuesday (12.13), to air on Wednesday December 14th but after missing her flight out of Hawaii, Lindsay Lo missed the taping and the Ellen show will not reschedule. This latest hiccup follows a string of slips for LiLo’s Playboy issue. Since late last week Hugh Hefner and Playboy have been chasing their tail after Lohan’s cover was leaked early. Hours later the entire spread was leaked by a Russian hacker. The leak forced Playboy to push the issue forward by several weeks and Lindsay to seek refuge on the beautiful island of Hawaii.
According to several media outlets, the Ellen show was unable to accommodate the last minute change. “Lindsay offered to tape Ellen tomorrow, but the show was unable to shift things around, and tomorrow is their last day of taping for the season.” Hefner hasn’t responded to Lohan’s recent slip but the missed interview is a lost opportunity for both. Hefner missed a chance to possibly boost sales and Lindsay Lohan lost a chance to finally tell her side of the story.
Perhaps Lindsay was beaten down by the public’s lukewarm response even though she quoted Marilyn Monroe in her Playboy interview about owning her sexuality.
“Sex and sexuality are a part of nature, and I go along with nature. I think Marilyn Monroe once said that. I certainly agree with her … Knowing yourself and your body is so important because it gives you confidence, and in life, women need confidence.”
According to sources Lindsay Lohan will make it to her probation hearing. Lindsay has received kudos from her probation officer for working diligently to complete her hours, including her long hours as a janitor at Los Angeles County morgue. Even Lohan knows this is an appointment she can’t skip!

Katie Couric Returns To The Dating Game
Katie Couric, 54, has called it quits with her boyfriend of five years Brooks Perlin. Perlin, 37, met Couric in 2006 at a fundraising event for cancer research. Couric’s husband Jay Monahan died of colon cancer in 1998. Couric said of their meeting then, “I thought he was really cute. He asked me if I wanted to have dinner sometime, and I liked that it was so direct and natural.”
But the couple who lived together in Couric’s Upper East Side home had grown apart. A source tells Page Six, “They have decided to move on. Brooks is a great person and a real gentleman; he and Katie enjoyed their time together. But after five years, they have decided it was time to go their separate ways. Brooks is in the process of moving out of her home.”
Katie isn’t crying a river over the split instead she’s focusing her energy into her ABC daytime talk show premiering in September 2012.
