Steve Guttenberg Starred On Hollywood Walk of Fame

Actor Steve Guttenberg is to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Today Monday, December 12.

The ceremony for Guttenberg, who is best known for his role as Cadet Carey Mahoney in the four Police Academy films, will be held appropriately in front of the Police Activities League on Hollywood Blvd. Guttenberg is being honored with the 2,455th star.

The actor started his on-screen acting career in 1977 with appearances in the thriller “Rollercoaster” and the made-for-television movie “Something for Joey.” He has appeared in more than 50 films since then.

Aside from the “Police Academy” films, Guttenberg is well known for movies such as “3 Men and a Baby” and its sequel, “3 Men and a Little Lady,” “Diner,” “Cocoon” and its sequel, “Cocoon: The Return.”

Recently, Guttenberg appeared in the film “A Novel Romance” with Shannon Elizabeth and in the horror musical movie “Eldorado,” which features Daryl Hannah, Michael Madsen and Peter O’Toole.

Other films that Steve Guttenberg has recently worked on include the high school cheerleading movie “At the Top of the Pyramid.”the political flick “Making Change” and the comedy “I Heart Shakey”
