Rachel Crow Defends Nicole Scherzinger; Michelle Duggar Miscarriage

UPDATE-X Factor had not only a shocking elimination but a shocking and highly emotional reaction from ousted contestant Rachel Crow. Crow, 13, was sent home by the viewers after L.A Reid voted for contestant Marcus Canty, Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul for Rachel and Nicole Scherzinger who tied the votes with a vote for Marcus. Through the tense period Rachel stood strong assuring the audience and judges that she’s OK with any decision. However after host Steve Jones announced Rachel was going home she immediately fell to the floor weeping. Simon quickly reached the stage to comfort the distraught teen. Nicole has since carried the blame for tying the vote but Rachel again displaying strength ask for her fans to lay off Scherzinger.

Rachel told People, “I want to say to all those people, ‘Stop, Please.’ [Scherzinger] is the nicest person and the most beautiful person inside and out. … She is amazing, and I don’t understand why people are taking it out on her. It’s no one’s fault. It’s not even America’s fault. It’s no one person’s fault. It’s just what God had in store for me. And I will be okay.”

Nicole has since spoken out against the intense backlash:

“My heart comes from the right place so I get really sensitive when people are negative. I’m like, ‘Don’t they know I only want the best for every single person? … I want them to be the best they can be. Ultimately America made the choice.”

Wow. Watch the touching elimination below. Do you think X Factor should increase the age limit? What did you think of Rachel’s reaction?

Michelle Duggar Will Name Baby After Miscarriage

Michelle Duggar and her husband Jim Bob Duggar plans to name their baby after an unfortunate miscarriage. Michelle, 45, who’s mother to 19 children, revealed she lost her 20th child in her second trimester. After a routine checkup on Thursday Michelle received the disheartening news,

“Our doctor said it was wise to let this miscarriage happen naturally. And so that is what we are going to do,” Michelle told People. “I am resting and I have felt good physically, which is strange.”

Michelle spoke of the heartbreak to People, “I feel like my heart broke, telling my children. We have all been so excited about this baby and looking forward to April coming around and having a new little one in our arms. That was the most difficult. The Lord is the giver of life and he can choose when that life is ready to go on and be with Him.”

The ’19 Kids and Counting’ star revealed the family will name the child before the burial just as they did with Michelle’s previous miscarriage.

“We will name this child and will know that we will see those children again someday in heaven.” A rep from TLC confirm the family is home resting.
