Kim Kardashian Divorce A Null Issue For Kris Humphries

Kris Humphries first televised interview since news of his pending divorce with Kim Kardashian shed little if any light on his feelings regarding his short and highly publicized 72-day marriage.

Kris, who was joined by his mother Debra, tried to keep the conversation solely on his NBA career and foundation as Good Morning America’s Josh Elliot tried to pry the slightest hint of regret or disdain from the former New Jersey Nets forward.

“For me, it’s just certain things happen in life and you’ve got to move forward.”

Kris continued by consistently mentioning that basketball is now his primary focus since the NBA lockout has come to an end.

“Through everything I’m just focused on family and preparing for basketball. Basketball has always been something I’ve taken really serious and I continue to do that and I’m just moving forward.”

At one point Kris even appeared annoyed by Josh’s persistence but alas there was no Chris Brown incident to report. The interview was very hard to watch nonetheless since many were expecting Kris to highlight something about his broken relationship with Kim. Just last month Kris very vocal when he revealed Kim’s divorce petition blindsided him.

“I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce. I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce … I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”

Well that was before the NBA lock out ended and Kris as a free agent is looking for a team to sign him.

“Hopefully I’ll be on a team soon and get ready to go.”

So perhaps Kris Humphries appearance on GMA was geared more towards showing potential teams that he wouldn’t allow the spectacle which surrounds his personal life to interfere with his ability to play ball..and who can blame him for that.
