Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children have popped the question.
According to Jolie, their kids constantly ask the couple, ‘why aren’t you two married?’
The little bundles of joy compared the two lovebirds to people in films saying, “Yeah, because … people get married in the movies,” Jolie said. “Shrek and Fiona are married, you know?”
The actress responds to the children by explaining that a couple doesn’t have to be married to be committed to each other and family.
“We’ve explained to them that our commitment, when we decided to start a family, was the greatest commitment you could possibly have,” she says. “Once you have six children, you’re committed.”
Jolie joked with her children about why they want to see her and Pitt married, “I asked them if it was just because they wanted to have a big cake.”
