UPDATE-The battle between Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian is on! Kris Humphries filed for an annulment from his 72 day marriage with Kim Kardashian. Humphries marked “nullity of voidable marriage” and checked the box “fraud” as the basis!
Under California law one can only file an annulment if there’s proof of impotency, incest, bigamy, unsound mind, force or fraud.
If an annulment is not granted then Kris wants a legal separation.
Sources close to Kris told TMZ he feels used in the relationship. Stating, “he was just slotted in the plot line of Kim Kardashian’s latest headline and newest business venture.”
Adding, “Once they were finished taping, she just didn’t need a groom anymore.”
The source’s position is in contrast to Kris’ original statement following Kim’s divorce announcement. “I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce … I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work,” said Kris in late October. To further add to the confusion, Kris’ claim that he was blindsided is contradicted by Kim Kardashian’s recent revelation. Kim stated she and Kris discussed an annulment before filing for divorce but was advised by there was no legitimate grounds for annulment.
Kris’ claims of fraud further fuels the flame that the entire marriage was a lie from the start. Reports previously surfaced that Kim, E! network and Ryan Seacrest shopped around for a NBA player. On the other hand the Kardashian camp is hoping their story of Kris belittling Kim will stick.
“He belittled her in front of people. He’d call her stupid. It was truly sickening.”
The insider continued;
“He tried to control Kim by bringing her down…He would say truly terrible things. One time, he said she had no talent and her fame wouldn’t last.”
Whatever the real story is behind the divorce, Kim has maintained that she did love Kris.
Kristin Cavallari Confirms Engagement Is Back On With Jay Cutler
They were off but now they’re back on. Former Dancing with the Stars contestant Kristin Cavallari was abruptly dumped by Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler back in July. After 10 months together and a trip to Cabos San Lucas, Kristin and Jay announced their engagement. Kristin was quick on her feet, setting her wedding date and even completed a wedding dress photo shoot for Life & Style magazine. What went wrong the first time? Rumors surfaced that Cutler’s controlling ways and Kristin’s refusal to tone down her partying ways ended their first engagement.
A source stated in July, “Jay Cutler was beyond controlling and didn’t really like Kristin to go out. When she did go out, he called all the time and demanded to know exactly where she was going and who she was with.”
Cutler has reportedly changed his tone: “He suddenly became more supportive of her career. Up till then, he’d always talked about it coming to an end once they got married. It was like Jay knew he was leaving the relationship and didn’t want Kristin to miss out on great opportunities in Los Angeles,” revealed a source.
Jay’s new attitude was enough for Kristin to accept his proposal again. Kristin confirmed the second engagement on Twitter
“This time its official . Jay and I are engaged again :)”
