Oscar winning actress Jennifer Hudson has finally answered her size zero critics. In early August The View co-host Joy Behar revealed she run into Jennifer while out shopping an overheard the salesperson say she’s a size Zero. Joy reportedly asked Jennifer “How does that feel?” To which Jennifer responded, “I feel like they’re talking to someone else.”
Ms. Hudson is finally opening up to Ebony magazine about the flack she received:
“I am going to finally address that size-zero thing that Joy [Behar] said on The View. Hell I wasn’t even on the show. I never said I was a size zero. I got crucified by I don’t know how many people who cussed me out because they said I’m putting out the wrong message and telling people to be a size zero. I got called every name under the sun and was told, ‘You should be ashamed of yourself for talking about being that size.’ Well, honey, when I do say I’m that size, then give me that speech. I never said that.”
Do we here an invite to The View?? Ebony’s December/January issue hits newsstands on November 29th.
In a separate interview given to Zap2it, Jennifer was singing a slightly different tune. This time she referred to her fans who actually applaud her weight loss,
“It’s just so bizarre for me to hear people say, ‘I’m gonna go get my Jennifer Hudson on’ … meaning they’re going to go and work out. I’m like this advocate of health now, and it’s like, ‘Huh?’ It’s just a complete 180. I never would have guessed in a million years that I would be somebody’s motivation to get up and go to the gym.”
Well Jennifer looks great – more power to you!
