We brought to you before that Brad Pitt was producing Steve McQueen’s upcoming venture based on Solomon Northup’s autobiography ‘Twelve Years a Slave’. Now, the film has been gaining a lot of interest owing to the fact that Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt is slated to play the central character in the movie. The movie is based on the real life of a black man who was forced into slavery in the 1850s. It will star talented actors like Chiwetel Ejiofor and Michael Fassbender in important roles.
Interestingly, Pitt is also going to produce the project under the banner of his company Plan B. The company has produced some interesting movies in recent years and this movie is expected to attract a lot of interest among movie goers. For those who enjoy movies based on historical events, this movie will definitely be a must watch. It is however, yet to be seen what role Brad Pitt is going to essay in this movie. Shooting is expected to begin early next year and it is already one of the most eagerly anticipated movies of the upcoming year.
