Beyonce, a mega pop super star and a glowing mommy-to-be is battling rumors that her pregnancy may be false. The 30-year old Countdown singer has wrestled many rumors in the past, even a recent plagiarism allegation, but this by far must be the worse.
In her recent Harper’s Bazaar interview, Beyonce revealed the amount of thought she put into the beautiful moment.
“I put a lot of thought into how I wanted to unveil it. It was important to me that I was able to do it myself. I was extremely nervous. It was the toughest red carpet I ever did. I didn’t want a crazy picture or gossip story to break the news, so I decided to say nothing and proudly show my baby bump. I felt it was more powerful to see the love and enthusiasm as opposed to saying anything.”
Just as she does with her work that has brought her the fame, Beyonce brings that same level of dedication and discipline to her personal decisions. On waiting to get married to her husband Jay-Z
“We have been together since I was 20 years old. We took our time and developed an unbreakable friendship before we got married. I admire his ability to inspire others. To me, Jay represents the American dream. Jay’s music has helped define our generation. All that he has overcome and worked to achieve gives millions hope that they can become whatever they want to be. I respect him so much; he is a great man and a great artist.”
But it appears even the sweetest moments are tarnished. Not a day passed after her VMA reveal did rumors surface that the star was wearing a prosthetic. The rumors died down but Sunday night they came back with a vengeance. Sunday night Beyonce interviewed with an Australian show and as she sat down in her red dress there appeared to be air underneath the dress and caused it to fold over. It seems no one bothered to consider that perhaps the fabric folded over!
