Ashanti announces her official new single while Rihanna preps for an early morning video shoot.
Ashanti stopped by The Today Show to talk about her role in the Boys & Girls Club, her single for Dream House soundtrack as well as her official single from her new album.
She tells Hoda Kotb about Never Too Far Away for Dream House starring Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig,
“Yes, I am so excited. The track ‘Never too Far Away’ is from the movie ‘Dream House’ that is coming out tomorrow with Daniel Craig. The title to the movie was a phenomenal experience.”
Ashanti clarified recently that Never Too Far Away is not going to be on her album. But she did reveal the first single from her upcoming album,
“The single. First of all, the single is called–it’s so exclusive. I haven’t told anybody this. It’s called ‘No Good.’ My official single will be out very soon. It’s so phenomenal.”
Looking forward to it! Over in Northern Ireland, Rihanna had an emergency that sent on her assistants searching around town for a beautician before her We Found Love video shoot
“Rihanna arrived at her hotel very late and the first thing she wanted was a bikini wax. The video shoot was scheduled for the following morning so she didn’t have much time.
“Her assistants got on the case quickly and called some beauticians after finding a directory on the web. It was relief all round when they finally managed to find someone.”
Pictures of Rihanna on the set of We Found Love didn’t show any need for a wax. She did remove her bikini top – then was asked to leave the farm land by the farmer. Hmm….makes you wonder what else Rihanna planned to take off?!
