Amber Rose and Beyonce are two people who can’t seem to catch a break no matter how something appears to be genuine. Rose has been catching major flack over the last two days when she tweeted from a brief trip to Ghana. Rose was hired to host the second annual Vodaphone 020 Live Music concert where Trey songz was the headlining act. While in Ghana Amber visited an Islamic school for girls and posted these and other pics to her Twitter fans. Ghananians were quickly offended by Amber posting only images of a Ghananians living in poverty while not highlighting the wealthier areas. Amber’s response/apology appeared to only make things worse: here’s a snippet:
People have to understand that this is my first time in Africa. This is not my culture. I have never been here so if I said anything to hurt anyone’s feelings then I am really, really sorry. I saw that a lot of people on twitter said ‘don’t just show the poverty, show the rich people’. But for me, the rich people aren’t doing anything for the little kids and the people that are living in poverty so I don’t want to go hang out with the rich people.

Beyonce is turn received major flack for her big baby bump reveal at the MTV VMAs last month. Many speculated the pop star even used a prosthetic baby bump to appear more pregnant that she actually was. While promoting her new fragrance Pulse in New York Beyonce chatted with Access Hollywood and explained just how she decided to reveal her pregnancy to her fans
“You know, I dreamt it, actually. There were so many rumors about me being pregnant every three months for the past couple of years – I thought the best way and classiest way was to just show it.
“And my husband and I have been together for 10 years, so I guess people felt a part of it and it makes me feel really good,” she added.
The criticism from some viewers isn’t fazing Beyonce as she proudly shows off and baby bump and loving speaks of the special moment.
“I just feel like everything I’ve been through in my life is all for right now. So hopefully life will continue to get better, and I’ll continue to get stronger and be an incredible mother.”
How tweet 🙂 Beyonce’s pregnancy will continue to dominate headlines and something tells us the scrutiny won’t stop anytime soon. Matter of fact, we’re certain someone is shaking their head about Beyonce “dreaming” about that moment. Sigh….
