Superman Man Of Steel Costume Revealed

There have been photos of Superman (Henry Cavil) in full costume on the internet for over a week, but we waited to show you something of high quality. What’s the point of revealing an iconic costume if it looked like a TMZ paparazzi photo? So after weeks of anticipation it is finally here. The biggest question that has plagued our super hero movie and comic book geek audience is finally answered. Will Superman be wearing his underwear on the outside of his pants? It seems silly, but the fan community has been in an uproar about it. Traditionalist want the iconic undies flashing in all its glory, while the contemporary comic folk are ready for an update. That being said, and as you can see from the photo above,  Superman is going commando. And I for one say, “It’s about time!” I was the first one to pull red underwear over my superman pajamas to complete the look, but that was over twenty years ago. Its time for a change, and I for one love the costume. It stays true to the Superman myth, but separates itself from other incarnations. Zack Snyder is making a serious movie, and real superheroes don’t wear underwear over their pants. It  doesn’t scream I’m the most powerful being in the world.
