Its Official, Chazz Palminteri has joined the John Gotti biopic. Palminteri will Play Mafia Don Paul Castellano who in real life was gun down in front of his favorite steakhouse on 47th street in Manhattan New York. A hit order by John Gotti himself. This wouldn’t be a gangster movie if there wasn’t the same amount of drama surrounding the production today. Casting had several hiccups during the process: Lindsay Lohan was signed to star but apparently she is not in the Movie. Joe Pesci was offered a role which he gained 30 pounds for in preparation however was offered another role later. Pesci is now suing Fiore for that. The movie begins pre-production in September and starts principal photography on January 3.
