Update- Jesse James has implied that the distance in location between he and Kat Von D is to blame for their split.
Jesse became Hollywood’s outlaw when he was outed for cheating on actress Sandra Bullock. While the divorce happened and went away quickly, Jesse decided he would dish on his new fiance, Kat Von D and how much better she is than Bullock. Jesse was heavily slammed for his tasteless remarks and even blaming Sandra for not loving him enough.
Despite the divorce, many felt that Kat Von D and Jesse made a more likely pair. But like most love affairs that begins amidst chaos – it too will come to an untimely end.
Jesse tells People magazine of his decision to call off the engagement with Kat Von D after less than a year together,
“I’m so sad because I really love her. The distance between us was just too much.” Jesse lives outside of Austin, Texas with his children while Kat works in Los Angeles.
Von D confirmed the split on Twitter.
“I am no longer w Jesse,” she writes, “and out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats all the info I’d like to share. Thanks for respecting that.”
Another day, another Hollywood relationship bites the dust. On Monday it was Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler; earlier this month it was Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony and the list goes on..
