Nicki Minaj is set to replace “Judas” singer Lady Gaga for MAC’s 2012 Viva Glam campaign. Latin superstar Ricky Martin is set to replace Cyndi Lauper. Photographer David LaChapelle – who’s in the middle of a suit with Rihanna over “S&M” – is set to complete the shoot for the campaign today.
Nicki tweeted after the shoot: “Viva Glam Photo Shoot. Ur gonna GAG!!!!!” wrote an excited Nicki. “Can’t wait for my barbz & ken barbz to wear this new shade of lipstick! Wait til u see it! Sickening!!!!”
This is the second time Nicki has teamed up with M.A.C after she released a limited edition “Pink 4 Friday” lipstick that sold out quickly.
Viva Glam was established in 1994 to raise funds to support men, women, and children affected by HIV/AIDS around the world. The organization has since raised $224 million.
Looking forward to seeing Nicki Minaj’s Viva Glam ad!
