After a change from her debut label “Hidden Beach” to Blues Babe and Warner Bros., a divorce, an engagement, another break-up, a new baby boy and a svelte new figure, Jill Scott has landed on top!
While many would say “Who is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1” should have easily landed at no. 1, be deemed a classic and earned a few Grammy’s (full disclosure: Jill Scott fan here:-) Jill Scott managed to do it on her fourth attempt.
“The Light of Sun” will land at no. 1 having sold 135,000 copies. Major congrats to Jill Scott!!
