Days after rapper Kevin McCall called out everyday Black women over their work priority, singer J. Holiday is doing much the same with some big-name artists. The “Bed” performer was fired up in a Sunday, Jan. 21 Instagram video saying that Black men are “still losing to the women.”

After explaining Black men do everything in their power to make sure those they care about are being taken care of, he also said the group doesn’t do things for attention.

Then, he indicated that stars like Cardi B, Beyoncé and SZA, the latter of whom have released albums detailing personal experiences, only do so to secure award nominations.

“Cardi, Beyoncé, SZA all y’all motherf—— stop using that f—— pain to make it OK to say some bulls—- on your record and get nominated for a Grammy for going through some bulls—,” he said in a video with a caption declaring he’s still “salty” over his loss to Mary J. Blige at the 2008 Grammys.

“‘Cause so have I as a Black [motherf—— man],” he added.

As expected, the BeyHive had none of it as they littered the singer-songwriter’s comments with bee emojis.

One person deemed him an “official headass” while another told him to “find ya teeth.”

Others had more fleshed out thoughts.

“If you were a true artist — which you’re not — you would be cognizant of the fact that your best work comes from your life experiences and pain that you have been through and have overcome,” someone wrote in part. “You channel that in your creativity. Taylor [Swift], Adele, Sam Smith have all done this. But yet you bash the women of your race. Sad!”

And on folks didn’t ease up on Twitter, either.
