Mariah Carey put out new music for her fans who are caught up with the love in the air leading up to Valentine’s Day. The R&B diva released a new song called “You’re Mine (Eternal), ” and just in case one version wasn’t enough considering the season, Carey also dropped a remix that features Trey Songz. As reported by mtv.com:

“Carey teamed up once again with hitmaker Rodney Jerkins for the catchy, romantic ballad. The song hypnotizes with a steady, soft beat that has Carey delicately singing about an old love. “I can’t seem to live without your love/ Suffocating here by myself/ Dying for your touch,” she sings.

“With a sound and style reminiscent of Carey’s hit, ‘We Belong Together,’ the R&B songstress proves why she’s still the fiercest diva in the game. Mimi shows off her impressive range throughout the song, but it’s the note at the end of the track that is bound to leave her devoted Lambily not only mesmerized by her vocals, but yearning for more.”

The song is the latest single off of Carey’s highly anticipated album The Art Of Letting Go, which is scheduled to be released on May 6. The video for “You’re Mine”, which was shot in Puerto Rico, will be released Wednesday evening on MTV. And the remix featuring Trey Songz will drop on Valentine’s Day on BET.
