Ciara’s Baby Bump, Beyonce’s Sheer Gown and Must-See Grammy Red Carpet Moments

The 2014 Grammy’s red carpet was underwhelming overall on Sunday night, but even in the midst of average gowns with surprising lack of risks, a few stars managed to pull off fashion moments that just had to be revisited.

Pregnant Ciara hit the red carpet showing off her growing baby bump in a stunning Emilio Pucci gown.

The form-fitting gold dress looked amazing on the R&B star and she made the right decision by keeping accessories to a minimum.

There was one accessory, however, that she really should have taken with her – her rapper fiance Future.

Future wasn’t spotted at the Grammys and apparently Ciara decided her baby bump was the only plus one she needed for the evening.

Of course, there is always the possibility that Future was just busy with other endeavors to make sure his name makes it on the nominees list for next year’s Grammy Awards.

Alicia Keys was another stand out on the red carpet as she showed off her flawless curves in a royal blue Armani Prive gown.

The deep plunge in the front of the gown gave the soulful songstress all the sex appeal she needed.

Chrissy Teigen Grammys 2014 best dressed

Chrissy Teigen finally showed off her red carpet know-how when she arrived at husband John Legend’s side in a gold, floor-length gown by Johanna Johnson.

Teigen hasn’t necessarily had any major red carpet moments in the past, but this sparkling number moved her up in the fashion ranks.

While Chrissy, Alicia and Ciara found a happy medium between sexy and classy,  it appeared Beyonce was going for all sex appeal with a see-through gown by Michael Costello.

Beyonce red carpet Grammys 2014

The sheer number protected Beyonce’s privacy with little more than a white floral pattern.

Beyonce usually hits the red carpet with a vengeance and soars to the top of nearly every best-dressed list, but this gown seemed underwhelming and played out.

The near-naked gown is definitely a look that Beyonce has rocked many times in the past and while she looked absolutely stunning, from a fashion point of view this was nothing new for Queen Bey.

Paula Patton, on the other hand, was busy getting in touch with her wild side with an interesting animal-print design.

The partly sheer gown featured black and white tiger stripes with funky detailing around Patton’s collar that created the image of two tigers face-to-face.

She paired the look with simple, up-do hair and minimal accessorizing, creating a very classy, wild look.

While no one seemed to have a giant fashion moment on the red carpet this year, there weren’t any fashion disasters either – which was very refreshing.

It seemed as though the worst that fashion fans saw was Fantasia’s outfit, which resembled one that might be worn by  the floor manager at a local Ross store.

There were some stars who just needed a little more editing to their look before they stepped out the house.

Tamar Braxton worst dressed Grammys 2014

Tamar Braxton was certainly one of those stars.

The Braxton sister hit the red carpet in a simple red gown that featured a pointy detail around the bust that almost looked like little devil’s horns.

While other stars pulled off minimal accessories very well, Tamar certainly could have used some added bling and much better hair styling.
