Paula Patton Has the Last Word on Robin Thicke’s Raunchy MTV Performance

Miley Cyrus’ grinding against singer Robin Thicke’s trousers and twerking during her MTV Video Music Award performance may have been the nail in the coffin for her relationship with actor Liam Hemsworth, but Thicke apparently doesn’t have those issues.

Minutes following the duo’s raunchy performance, many questioned what Thicke’s wife Paula Patton thought. He has already stated that his wife had no issues with the performance and even encouraged it. For the first time, weeks after the performance, Patton is finally speaking out.

The “Mission Impossible” actress stopped by Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” Tuesday and shared her thoughts with host Andy Cohen.

“Honestly, they rehearsed for three days beforehand, and I don’t know how not to dance with someone having their booty in your … all my friends do it like that,” she explained. “And I don’t really know what the big deal is.”

Patton added, “I didn’t know if they thought Miley was going to sit down and play piano like Alicia Keys. Her song’s [“We Can’t Stop”] about taking molly!”

“I don’t understand. I didn’t get the big deal,” she continued.

Well, there you have it.
