Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Stewart lost her battle to remain in the Georgia mansion she once shared with her former NFL quarterback husband Kordell Stewart. Porsha was reportedly blindsided by the divorce, learning legal papers had been filed through Twitter.
Despite the public embarrassment, the reality star wasn’t ready to completely move out of their home and start her life anew. According to court documents filed last month, Porsha accused Kordell of changing the locks without notice and refusing to purchase her a new home. The former football star alleged he texted his soon-to-be-ex-wife prior to changing the locks and requested a judge refuse alimony and kick his former lover out.
Unfortunately for Porsha, the judge agreed with Kordell on the eviction.
TMZ reported:
“On June 18th the Fulton County Court judge sided with Kordell, temporarily granting him the exclusive right to use the crib … and ordered Porsha to move out.”
All was not lost for the granddaughter of the late civil rights leader Hosea Williams as the judge granted her request for alimony.
TMZ added:
“It’s not all bad news for Porsha … the judge also ordered Kordell to cough up $5,000 / month in alimony for the next 3 months, hand over all of Porsha’s belongings and pay for moving costs and a storage unit while she transitions.”
In the midst of suffering through a nasty public divorce, Porsha must contend with rumors she had an affair with a music producer named Ralo Wonder – rumors that may have leaked thanks to Bravo producers hoping to stir up drama ahead of the next season. It isn’t a far stretch, is it?
Ralo is engaged to a woman named Crystal “Mochahantas” Barnes, who’s reportedly joining the cast of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” though no official announcement has been made.
A “close” friend of Crystal denied the cheating allegations to Radar Online and hinted someone may have planted the rumors, “It’s a total lie. It’s more than likely that someone just made it up for the show. Ralo and Crystal have been together for a while and they’re happy and getting ready to get married. This whole thing is just made up.”
As Porsha begins to start over again under the glare of the camera, one must wonder if there’s any sympathy left to muster for failed reality TV marriages.
