Gabrielle Union and NBA star boyfriend Dwyane Wade have emerged as quite the stylish power couple as they stepped out on the forefront of fashion at the 2013 BET Awards.
Many celebrities took to Los Angeles to flaunt the hottest fashion trends, but not many stars worked the runway like Gabrielle and Dwyane.
Union hit the red carpet in a stunning fitted red dress that showed off all of her fabulous curves while still keeping things classy and sophisticated – which we can’t say for many of the other ladies who strutted down the red carpet.
While the “Think Like a Man” actress obviously put a lot of thought into her simple but chic accessories that tied her classic look together, other ladies looked like they hadn’t finished getting dressed for the show.
We love Ciara’s toned abs just as much as the next person, but seeing her pose for pictures in a leather bralet and a high-waisted leather skirt that she paired with silver pumps was underwhelming and confusing.
The “Body Party” songstress looked great in the ensemble, but more like going-out- on-a-lunch-date great; not BET-Awards-show great.
Union, on the other hand, had everything styled to perfection including her most impressive accessory of all – a handsome, well-dressed man.
Wade has climbed his way to the top of many best dressed athletes lists and he made sure he kept it up for the BET Awards.
The Miami Heat baller rocked a silver blazer that was tailored to perfection, along with black trousers and silver-studded black shoes.
If you’re one of those fans who gets disappointed when celebrity couples don’t match colors, don’t get upset with the power couple yet.
After she blew everyone away in her first dress, the “Bring It On” actress slipped into a second dress that was even more breathtaking than her fitted, red ensemble.
The second look was a floor-length white and silver gown that, once again, hugged her figure perfectly.
An extremely high split on the side added sex appeal to the very elegant look.
While Union was busy showing off serious leg and thigh with the high split, Wiz Khalifa’s fiancée, Amber Rose, was showing off even more skin.
Although it was completely unintentional, no one showed off more of their curves than Rose, who was caught off guard by a sudden gust of wind that lifted her dress, revealing her famous rear end that Wiz so often likes to brag about.
After the wind settled down, however, the dress turned out to be one of the best looks of the evening.
The wind also managed to catch Ne-Yo’s artist Ravaughn off guard as it tossed her metallic dress up as well. Luckily for her, Ne-Yo’s arm around her waist managed to keep her dress from blowing up over her derriere.
Many stars were opting for all-white looks as Mya posed in a white jumpsuit and blazer in an unusual combination, while Chris Brown’s red carpet date, Sevyn Streeter, worked a white, lace crop top and funky skirt.
She matched her red carpet escort who opted for a casual white T-shirt and jeans combo.
Of course, the pair had everyone wondering why Brown didn’t bring his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, who tweeted a photo of herself cuddling with her boo just moments before the show.
Meagan Good and Skye Townsend were among other beautiful ladies who showed major skin, while French Montana came in first place by a long shot for this year’s worst dressed award.
