Ready for the delicious sequel to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, because this fall Cloudy 2: Revenge of the Leftovers, is storming its way into the stomach of theaters.
After the horrible food storm that took place in the first film, Flint (Bill Hader) and his friends are forced to leave their small town of Chewandswallow. Flint then accepts an invitation from his role model Chester V to join the Live Corp Company, whose duty was to clean the island and the place where the best investors in the world create technology to help better the human race. He soon discovers that his food machine is still operational and is now creating mutant food beasts and now he and his friends must return to save the world.
The film is the sequel to the Sony Pictures’ 2009 animated film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, based on the Judi Barrett’s book Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. It is being directed by both Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn, with producer Kirk Bodyfelt, and executive produced by the directors of the first film, Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
