Jay-Z has given his daughter Blue Ivy Carter her own personal playground, a luxury basement suite underneath Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. For the price of one million dollars a year, the hip-hop mogul rents the most expensive of the new arena’s 11 private suites for his family and friends. The suite includes an area for Blue’s toys, according to Us Weekly.
The suite turned nursery is just another way that Jay-Z has chosen to integrate his family into the culture of the three-month-old Barclays Center. He held a series of eight straight performances in the arena to celebrate its opening in October. He is also a part owner of the hometown Brooklyn Nets. Hov and his wife Beyonce have been spotted at the venue during multiple Nets home games as well.
Monday will be the first birthday of hip hop’s first child, and though Blue’s parents Jay-Z and Beyonce haven’t revealed their own plans for the occasion, it seems as though no expense will be spared on the 12-month old infant.
