Beyonce bought husband Jay-Z a £3 million Hublot watch for his birthday this year as she ignores the diss from her self-proclaimed fan Wendy Williams.
Earlier this year, Queen Bey gave her king a little princess named Blue Ivy, and although that’s all he really wanted for his birthday this year, she still decided to add some bling to his b-day celebration – specifically his wrist.
The Hublot watch called the Big Bang is dazzling with over 1,000 diamonds in it and was certainly the perfect gift for the avid watch collector.
“She knew he would love the Hublot Big Bang watch,” a source revealed to the Daily Star. “It’s the ultimate timepiece, a mixture of extravagance, luxury, and bling.”
When it comes to the superstar couple it must be hard picking out gifts for one another because after all they do seem to already have it all.
“It is absolutely stunning,” the source continued. “…what do you buy the man who already has everything?”
Earlier this year she even hit Jay-Z with another lavish gift, thanking him for all his support during her pregnancy with Blue Ivy.
She gifted the hip hop mogul with an incredible sapphire ring which cost the “Countdown” songstress £300,000.
Not to be outdone, however, Jay-Z has dropped quite a few extravagant gifts on his wife. Perhaps even better than the gifts themselves, however, is his delivery. One Christmas the reigning New York king lined the Christmas tree with several over 200,000 worth of Hermes Birkin bags – totaling more than $300,000 in US currency.
Looks like Kim Kardashian’s Lambourghini gift to her boo Kanye has been outdone… twice.
Meanwhile, talk show host Wendy Williams had quite a bit to say about Blue Ivy Carter’s mommy and from the sound of it you wouldn’t think she was the fan she claims to be.
While all of the R&B superstar’s fans are excitedly waiting the release of her documentary, Williams claims that she’s only watching it on the TV in her kitchen so she can understand that Bey is saying.
“I am a Beyonce fan,” she started as she talked to her live studio audience. “I’m gonna watch her documentary, because fortunately one of the TVs in our kitchen has closed captioning, so I’ll be able to understand what she’s says. You know Beyonce can’t talk. She sounds like she has a fifth grade education.”
Perhaps the daytime talk show host should have planned this one out a little better because she was immediately at the receiving end of a roar boos.
“Excuse me,” the radio DJ turned TV personality exclaimed. “I just said I was a fan, but we have to call a spade a spade.”
Either way, the audience wasn’t hearing it… and neither was Beyonce.
Let’s be honest, when you’re making enough money to where you can buy multi-million dollar watches the way people buy loaves of bread who cares about a little diss here and there.
