They may not exactly be American royalty, but Kim Kardashian and Kanye West did their best impersonation of the British royal family by doing a joint visit to the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital on Friday.
This was just after the duo had returned from Europe, where Kanye and Jay-Z wowed a continent with their Watch the Throne tour, and just before Kim joined Kanye at the hugely anticipated annual black spectacle that is the BET Awards. Kim was seated in the front row at the awards between Kanye and Nicki Minaj, two chairs away from Beyonce and Jay-Z, looking fairly uncomfortable at times as the African-American pomp and circumstance swirled around her.
But at the children’s hospital, Kim was all smiles as she and her beau worked to lift the spirits of plenty of sick children, going from room to room.
According to NBC LA, the two of them surprised a teen suffering from Leukemia just a day before her family and the hospital were set to hold a bone marrow registry drive to save the 19-year-old’s life.
