American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez is calling the shots. Just two days ago MTV announced it purchased a new comedy produced by JLo and written by Grace Parra. But that’s only one accomplishment following a long list of projects in 2011 alone!
So it’s no wonder that the sexy Latina doesn’t take kindly to anyone telling her how to run her business which begins with her image. For her Glamour magazine December cover, JLo was interviewed by famed actress Jane Fonda.
Fonda stated,
‘I read that you once fired a manager who told you to lose weight.’
Jennifer responded, ‘I was just so infuriated that somebody said you couldn’t have a little extra meat on you – because I was by no means fat!
‘That was so mean and closed-minded.
‘I was like: “No, this is who I am and this is the type of woman that I grew up with and it was beautiful and there’s no reason to be anybody but myself”.’
And being herself has worked wonders for Jenny. Surprisingly, or maybe not so much, Jenny from the Block did admit she’s not completly against plastic surgery.
‘Honestly, I’m not going to make a judgement on it because I don’t have to yet,’ Lopez tells Fonda
‘I mean, I’d like to think I’ll feel great about myself and age gracefully, but then I think: “Well, what if I do want a little bit of something?”
‘I’m open to being open.’
Well, for now, Jennifer looks great with a sizzling career to boot!
