Carrie Ann Inaba and her fiance Jesse Sloan have called it quits. The ‘Dancing with the Stars’ judge accepted Sloan’s proposal on March 11th during a segment of ‘Live with Regis and Kelly’. Sloan’s engagement which was witnessed by millions went something like this,
“I’ve struggled to find the words to express what you mean to me. You’re an inspiration, you’re beautiful, you’re wonderful, you’re everything to me. Will you marry me?”
As of last November Carrie Ann was planning a wedding, albeit a slow moving one, “I don’t know, I’m not a good wedding planner, I suck… I don’t want to plan. I’m doing private… I wanna do backyard and I wanna do beach.”
It appears her indecisiveness may have saved her the hassle of beating Kim Kardashian’s 72-marriage record. Inaba’s rep has not provided any additional information on reasons for the breakup but did insist the former couple are still friends. “They decided early in the summer to break off their engagement and have remained friends,” said the rep to Access Hollywood in a statement on Monday.
To get over her heartbreak the DWTS judge will jump right into the show’s all-star season premiering September 24th. Nothing like hard work to get over a breakup.
