Ryan Gosling’s film “The Notebook” is not responsible for R.Kelly’s marriage ending says his ex-wife Andrea. The R&B veteran remembered the moments after watching the romantic film,
“As the film credits started to roll, I couldn’t move. I burst into tears. People walking past me patted me on the back, trying to console me. The Notebook was beautiful, and I was crying because its hero and heroine had died together.”
Kelly added, “But I was also crying because I remembered a Valentine’s Day — when a helicopter dropped a rainfall of roses — that had come and gone … My marriage had died. And there was nothing I could do to bring it back.”
The vivid recollection of the moment his marriage was destroyed isn’t flying past Andrea who also stars in Hollywood Exes.
“The Notebook came out in 2004 and our divorce wasn’t final until 2009,” she told Radar Online.
“Did the movie really have anything to do with the divorce or was that a wakeup call for him to act like a man and realize these are the things he needed to do to step up in this marriage before it is too late?”
Why rehash a three-year old divorce?
