Mariah Carey’s fans got a chance to see her when she stepped out in London in a fire-hot engine red trench as she arrived at her Dorchester hotel today, reportedly for a day.
The songstress looked refreshed and upbeat despite her long flight. The “We Belong Together” singer completed her tulip hemline cardinal trench look with black sunglasses, bone-straight hair, a black dress, nude nails, and multi-colored peep toes.
The London trip is said to have been prompted by her latest musical offerings though her devoted fans have been without a new studio album for three years.
However, that could change.
“So.. Summer 2012.. Been in the lab, mixing up some concoctions for you, hope you like it!! #MCSummer2012,” Carey tweeted earlier this month.
And on Sunday, the mother-of-twins reminded: Still working in the studio with friends o plenty! I love love this new song.
To her credit, the 42-year-old has been putting family first with being a hands-on mother to Moroccan and Monroe since their birth April of last year. And her husband, Nick Cannon, has been dealing with bouts of sickness stemming from a now-diagnosis of a lupus-like disease.
However, the Mariah did record some, last October the singer collaborated with Justin Bieber to re-release “All I Want for Christmas”.
