Nicole Richie paid tribute and helped to celebrate father Lionel Richie’s musical achievements in Las Vegas Monday evening. The “Fashion Star”, on television and in real life, donned a floral, floor-length, yellow gown with a messy, but chic pompadour and must-have red bottoms.
Lionel was adorned with both of his lovely daughters for the gracious occasion including 13-year-old Sofia. The young ladies had designated front seats, both flanking their proud papa.
The ACM event, “Lionel Richie And Friends In Concert,” was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and brought out the likes of Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and Marc Anthony who all paid tribute to the music veteran on stage.
Richie, 62, performed a series of his hit songs with many of today’s favorite musical stars like Lady Antebellum and The Band Perry, who took to the stage to honor him and his many contributions of hits.
One of the most memorable moments of the evening was Lionel’s performance with Kenny Chesney where the two belted out “My Love” in perfect harmony.
The Academy of Country Music Awards the day before ushered in many of Lionel’s guests as well including Sara Evans, Martina McBride, and Luke Bryan.
