Kris Humphries will not represent himself in his divorce battle against Kim Kardashian despite previous rumors to the contrary. Earlier this week it was reported that the New Jersey Nets star opted to fire his counsel and speak for himself in court. However only the former is true.
An insider close to the basketball star states, “He is
in the process of changing counsel is all.He was not dropped by [his lawyers].”
As the divorce saga continues, Humphries is reportedly demanding $7 million from his estranged reality TV star wife to keep his mouth shout. A source allegedly told TMZ that Kim has been given an ultimatum to “either pay up, or endure an ugly, public trial.” Despite his attempts Kris may lose this battle considering that he made a profit from the wedding and the reality show in the ball park of $1.3 million, total.
Quite frankly we think the public would enjoy an all out brawl that may help expose some dark secrets but honestly Humphries doesn’t appear ready to challenge the Kardashians.
