By now, fans know that LeBron James and his wife, Savannah James, do not play games with their marriage.
Still, many could not resist sensationalizing a video floating around social media of the NBA great and his family being greeted by football legend Tom Brady during a Paris 2024 Olympics event.
A brief video shows the retired Patriots superstar tapping Savannah on the back to get her attention as LeBron stood by her side.
The stunning basketball wife, who regularly has league fans fawning over her, was aloof to Brady’s invitation for an interaction until her husband guided her attention to the future NFL Hall of Famer beaming with a smile behind her.
After locking eyes, they exchanged a hug. A sofa, where the couple’s daughter Zhuri was seated, was the only thing creating distance between them. LeBron looked on moving his glaze from Savannah to Brady and back again as the two shared a brief dialogue. All the while, the Olympian kept a smile on his face and nodded his head as he and his wife spoke with the bachelor.
But for those narrating the seconds-long interaction from digital devices, there was more to the story. Countless reactions suggested that there was no way LeBron could have been okay with another distinguished athlete excitedly greeting his wife. “Bron don’t like all that touching. he don’t care if that’s Tom Brady,” read one such reaction.
Another hot take read, “If you look Tom tried to sneak a low-key kiss in,” wrote another commenter who happened to notice the peck that Brady placed on Savannah’s cheek. A third individual said that it was clear Savannah is who Brady really wanted to see when they commented, “Nahh he looking more at his wife then James.”
“It wouldn’t be possible without her I’ll tell you that”

It is unclear if the two GOATs interacted before Brady focused on Savannah, but upon the former football star seemingly paying Savannah her compliments, you can hear LeBron state, “It wouldn’t be possible without her, I’ll tell you that.”
Some fans feel LeBron’s comment could have been a slight jab at the newly divorced NFL legend.
“Saying that to a freshly divorced man kinda crazy,” tweeted an X user.
Another stated, “Bron sneak dissing Brady right to his face with that one.”
A third X user wrote, “You could see that shit hit Brady’s soul like a shotgun blast.”
After 13 years of marriage, Brady and former supermodel Gisele Bündchen divorced in October 2022 and share two children, Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11. This summer it has been rumored that he is cozying up to Brazilian social media personality Isabella Settann. However, it is rumored that Bündchen and her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend Joaquim Valente, could be tying the knot soon.
The pair began dating in June 2023, less than a year after Bündchen and Brady’s divorce was finalized. An Insider tells Life & Style that the couple are already eying a quiet wedding in Costa Rica.
“Gisele and Joaquim are planning a low-key wedding at her Costa Rica estate,” said the insider. “She wants to do it far away from prying eyes.”
The insider went into further detail about the nuptials, stating, “Gisele is flying family in from Brazil. Her sisters will be there, as well as Joaquim’s brothers, Gui, who will be best man, and Pedro. Plus, she’s invited her new friend Shakira.”
The insider also says that the ceremony will be mostly conducted in Portuguese.
While there was no chance of Bundchen running into her ex-husband at the Paris Olympics, the supermodel did show love to fellow Brazilian, gymnast Rebeca Andrade, who brought home a gold medal on Aug 5 to become Brazil’s most decorated athlete.
