Keyshia Ka’oir and her husband, rapper Gucci Mane, surprised fans when they announced that a little LaFlare will be making his or her way into the world soon.
Sharing simultaneous posts making the announcement, Ka’oir glows in both pics as she’s decked out in black lingerie and diamond drip.
The Ka’oir Fitness founder’s caption was exactly what you’d expect from Mrs. Guwop, opting to keep it trill as opposed to going the lovey-dovey route. “I ain’t athletic but on @laflare1017 D I did gymnastics🤰👼🏽,” she wrote.
Gucci’s caption was a bit more heartfelt, but still straight to the point. “My beautiful wife pregnant life is good,” wrote the “Lemonade” rapper.
Gucci and Keyshia’s celebrity friends were thrilled for the couple. Trina, Sevyn Streeter, Normani, Joseline Hernandez, LaLa, Kandi, and more dropped by to share their joy over the news.
Fans were equally excited and left plenty of congratulatory comments on the image, which received over 744,000 likes.
“OMG OMG YALL HAVING A BABY OMG THIS IS THE GREATEST DAY IN HISTORY😭😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” a follower wrote excitedly.
“lol guwop Carriage gone be made or engraved with real diamond or something lol @keyshiakaoir,” joked a second.
“❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕 Congratulations! U and @laflare1017 deserve this beautiful bundle of joy!!,” remarked a third.
“BEAUTIFUL!!!!! You look like a pregnant barbie 😍,” gushed a fourth.
“The caption is EVERYTHING 🤣😂😍😍❤️❤️ congrats 🎉🎉🎉,” a fifth wrote.
The couple both have children from previous relationships, but this bundle of joy will be their first child together.
Keyshia and Gucci met in 2010 and got engaged in November 2016 after she held him down during his three-year prison sentence. The two of them say that while he was serving his time he gifted her $2 million which she used as an investment into her newly launched Ka’oir Cosmetics line. By 2017 the company reportedly had grossed $6 million.
“I did have more money for him when he came home, and I will just leave it at that,” she told the New York Post in a 2017 interview.
The couple has been married since 2017. The pair’s extravagant wedding, and the moments leading up to it, were captured for a limited TV series on BET called “The Mane Event.”
