D-Nice has teamed up with Michelle Obama and her When We All Vote organization to register people to vote.
Nice’s name has been making headlines, for his move to host virtual dance parties from his Los Angeles condominium during the current pandemic.
A lot of celebrities joined in on the events from their respective locations, and Obama showed up to one that took place Saturday, March 21.
On Instagram, Nice revealed that his next blowout, called “Couch Party: A Voter Registration Live Set,” is set for Wednesday, March 25. As D-Nice plays that day, volunteers will register people to vote.
“Ready for another party?” Nice asked in his post. “Excited to team up with @MichelleObama’s @WhenWeAllVote this Wed. Starting at 6:30pm ET on IG Live to play a set while volunteers across the country text eligible voters to help them register to vote. You can sign up to help too: weall.vote/couchparty.”
In the comments of Nice’s post, many said they’d definitely attend the party and seemed really excited about it.

“This guy is doing some amazing things 🎵 👏🏼,” someone wrote about Nice.
Nice was a guest on Jimmy Fallon‘s “The Tonight Show: At Home Edition” on Monday, March 23, and said he was shocked at the huge response to his dance parties.
“I just wanted to do something good for people and it turned into something really good, so unexpected,” he said. “I had a small Instagram following, and I wanted to play it for like my friends.
“It was a small group of like 200 people; the next day it was 2,000 people, then the day after that it was 12,000 people. Then Saturday it was like a 100,000 people,” Nice added.
He described it all as a beautiful experience, adding “Something I was doing in my kitchen was able to touch the world.”
