“Black Ink Crew: Chicago‘s” Charmaine Walker has a lot of people saying that her daughter Nola Glenda Bey looks just like her later mother Glenda Walker, who passed away in October.
The photo shows Walker holding her little one and kissing her on the cheek. Meanwhile, Nola is staring directly into the camera, and it looks like she has some spittle coming out of her mouth. But in the caption Walker reveals that it’s milk.
The image was posted to Instagram on Wednesday, March 18, and it’s been liked over 150,000 times, with nearly 4,000 comments left.
“Milk waisted with my baby girl @nolagbe,” wrote Walker in the caption.
“She looks like your mom @charmainej_tv 😍💕,” one person wrote.
“I see your mom all in her face in this picture ! God bless you 🙏🏾 💗 & congrats mamas,” another comment read.
“She is beautiful and lord knows she is ur mother all over again…god bless,” wrote someone else.
Last week, Walker shared a split image of her daughter and mother on Instagram, and once again people commented on the resemblance.
“& I think to myself what a wonderful world 💕,” Walker captioned the image.
Some referred to Nola and Walker’s mom as “twins,” and others said it’s a blessing that they look so much alike.
“This brought tears to my eyes,” someone wrote under that second photo. “I KNOW HOW CLOSE YOU WHERE TO YOUR MOM AND SHE IS DEFINITELY HERE THROUGH BABYGIRL NOLA!!!😘😘😘”
“Omg. She looks just like her mom (eyes water)) How beautiful!!!!❤️❤️❤️💖💖 Congrats ❤️❤️,” another message read.
Walker and her husband Nick Bey welcomed Nola on March 14 at Chicago’s Northwestern Medicine Prentice Women’s Hospital.
On Sunday, March 15, Bey posted an Instagram message about the delivery and wrote, “SAFE DELIVERY!!!!!!!!!!! Head full of hair!!!!”
The following day he posted a photo of himself, Walker and baby together in the hospital and wrote, “In Love 🥰 @sugarmilkk.”
